First operation with black box
AMC - Academic Medical Center | June 07, 2016
The AMC will start operations that are recorded in the medical variant of what is called the black box in aviation. The Surgical Black Box is a computer system that records during surgery, combines and analyzes in order to provide targeted feedback to the surgical team. The system comes from Canada and is tested in the AMC for the first time in Europe. The use of the black box offers employees better understand their own performance as a team in the operating room and thereby increases safety for patients in the OR. On June 8 carries prof. Dr. Marlies Drives the first Black Box unregistered mission.
