A Nice Distraction for Patients in the Hospital

It’s probably not the face you would expect to see when you hear you have a visitor. “We knock on the door. We open it a crack. Chelsea usually sticks her nose in and looks around,” said Bob Schoen, a pet therapy volunteer. One look at Chelsea and patients can forget about why they are in the hospital. “It definitely puts a smile on your face when you’re in here for so long, and you can’t go outside, and you can’t see your dogs,” said a patient.
