Developing a simulator for better care during transport

The ambulance drives through a city and takes a sharp turn around a corner. At the same time, ambulance personnel is treating a patient in the back of the ambulance. How do the speed and turns of the ambulance affect the care that is given? What other factors play in on the quality of care performed in an ambulance? This has been investigated in a project by LiU and VTI (Swedish National Road and Transport Research Institute). The ultimate goal is to develop a simulator to investigate how transport-related factors affect pre-hospital care.
