Plain packaging for cigarettes will kill industry: Tobacco institute

KOLKATA: The tobacco industry on Monday appealed against India adopting plain packaging norms for cigarettes as suggested by the World Health Organization (WHO), saying such a move will destroy the industry and tobacco farmers in the country.
