International SOS | March 08, 2016
The International SOS Foundation, in partnership with Sherrard Kuzz LLP, a leading employment and labor law firm, and the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety, announced today new duty of care legal guidance for Canadian employers with employees who travel and work abroad. The key recommendation is that Canadian employers apply all local site occupational health and safety rules and regulations for employees abroad as legal responsibilities are still in development, in addition to adhering to Canadian duty of care standards.
