Lebanon School District receives ‘Healthy Students, Healthy Community’ grant from WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital

The Lebanon School District announced today that WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital has provided the district with a “Healthy Students, Healthy Community” Grant, which will be used to support the district’s goal of providing additional nursing services to students at the Lebanon Middle School. “The district has many funding challenges, and we have been in need of more staff to provide support for our students in areas of instruction, administration and also in nursing,” said Lebanon School District Superintendent Marianne T. Bartley. “The support that we will be getting from WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital for a nursing position helps us meet the immediate concern for additional nursing support at Lebanon Middle School and will also help us with our STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) initiative in the district.”
