Willis-Knighton Health System to Implement MEDITECH Expanse EHR

Willis-Knighton Health System, a Shreveport, LA-based not-for-profit healthcare system, today announced it has signed to implement MEDITECH’s mobile, web-based Enterprise Health Record (EHR), Expanse, across its five hospitals and 140 clinics. The intuitive, web-based, mobile EHR system will equip providers and clinicians with the enhanced tools necessary to increase their productivity. In addition, the provider will implement Expanse Population Health, which will enable them to deliver care that reaches far beyond the hospital and physician’s office. Care teams will be able to examine entire groups of patients, determine who they’re accountable for, and decide on the appropriate interventions — all from just one screen. By identifying at-risk patients, gaps in care, and overdue health maintenance, MEDITECH’s Patient Registries will help Willis-Knighton promote wellness and take a more proactive approach to care coordination and disease management.
