Noridian Partners and RELI Group Collaborate to Offer Medicare Provider Ownership Verification Services

Noridian Healthcare Solutions | June 28, 2022

Noridian Partners

In order to evaluate and confirm provider ownership data in Medicare systems, Noridian Healthcare Solutions, LLC (Noridian), a pioneer in creating solutions for federal, state, and commercial health care programs, has joined forces with management consulting firm RELI Group. Noridian is working closely with RELI Group, the prime contractor, as the subcontractor to build a procedure that will guarantee information is correct and complies with Center for Medicare & Medicaid (CMS) approval standards. By preventing and detecting misuse and fraud, the collaboration between Noridian and RELI Group will guarantee that beneficiaries engage with reliable suppliers.

One of Noridian’s main goals is to enable access to health care through our work. However, it’s crucial the care is coming from trusted providers so people can feel confident their health is being put first. We’re honored to work with RELI Group to connect reliable providers with the millions of people who rely on Medicare for access to health care.”

Troy Aswege, Senior Vice President of Operations, Noridian

All providers participating in the Medicare Part A, Part B, and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) insurance programs are covered by the contract. The primary goals of the contract are to cross-check the Secretary of State (SOS) website with the provider ownership data provided by CMS and to cross-check the results with the Provider Enrollment, Chain, and Ownership System (PECOS). Additionally, with assistance from Noridian, RELI Group will create a standard operating method for every state to successfully authenticate ownership information on the CMS enrollment application.

“We place the highest value in supporting CMS in maintaining the dependability of overseeing national and state-based fraud, waste and abuse initiatives across payment programs. Noridian is a valued partner for RELI on this project because they share in our passion for improving healthcare for the nation and they bring proven expertise in Medicare and Medicaid provider enrollment and management.”
