WellSpan York Hospital opens new emergency behavioral health suite

WellSpan York Hospital today opened its new Emergency Department Behavioral Health Suite, marking the completion of the latest phase of the hospital’s multiyear, $50 million renovation of its emergency department. The new behavioral health unit consists of six individual rooms, two quiet rooms and two interview rooms, which are designed for those needing observation or those being evaluated and awaiting admission to WellSpan York Hospital’s behavioral health unit or another facility.
