Men's Health Coping with Stress-Saint Thomas Health

We've all experienced stress, but how we handle stress varies especially between men and women. Dr. Daniel McGee, a primary care physician at Saint Thomas Health, part of Ascension, says there are certainly hormonal differences between the two sexes. Beyond that, women in general reach out to others when facing stressful situations. Typically, it's easier for them to talk it out. Men on the other hand tend to keep it to themselves or find a way to escape from the stress. Both, says Dr. McGee, can be harmful to a man's health.
