DocGo Offers Mobile Health Services to Empire BlueCross BlueShield Members

DocGo Offers

DocGo has signed a contract with Empire BlueCross BlueShield to provide mobile health services to Empire BlueCross BlueShield members in New York and New Jersey. DocGo is a major last-mile mobile health service company that has offered integrated medical transportation solutions to various other healthcare service companies and organizations.

DocGo operates in 28 U.S. states and the United Kingdom, providing Mobile Health services at scale. The services are solely dedicated to governmental entities, hospital networks, and enterprise customers to provide high-quality, low-cost care to patients. 

Empire, an Anthem, Inc.-affiliated health plan, is New York's largest health insurer and has been serving residents for more than 85 years. DocGo now will reach an additional 4.5 million people with its in-home mobile health services. The services include urgent episodic care, preventative care, and chronic care management.

The contract, which goes into effect on June 1, 2022, will allow DocGo to provide access to high-quality healthcare facilities to more people. DocGo aligns with Empire's primary mission of materially and measurably improving the health of all New Yorkers. DocGo brings care solutions to patients when and where they need them most, particularly in their homes.
