HealtheMed today announces the launch of its new telemedicine platform to bring healthcare into the homes of the most vulnerable Minnesota Medicaid populations. HealtheMed has closed a seed round of capital from angel investors to fuel the launch of its new service and expansion to markets across the United States. HealtheMed’s unique platform will enable Medicaid special needs populations to quickly access medical services, including medication adherence, medication management, remote patient monitoring, chronic disease management, and primary/specialty care. The HealtheMed platform will consist of a large TV with attached camera and microphone for two-way synchronous communications with healthcare providers.
