A 67-year-old caucasian male with a diagnosis of NYHA Class III heart failure was identified as a patient who could benefit from remote monitoring of pulmonary artery (PA) pressure measurements. The patient was not on anticoagulant therapy, so no international normalized ratio (INR) measurement was required prior to the CardioMEMS™ PA Sensor implantation procedure.
