Why Hospitals and Health Plans are Turning to Credentials Verification Organizations

Like the rest of healthcare, credentials verification requirements are becoming more complex. Medical staff services departments are being taxed in ways they’ve never experienced, say credentialing experts. The Accountable Care Act, for one, has challenged hospitals, health systems, and health plans to tighten up provider oversight and processes to improve quality and efficiencies and eliminate fraud.
